Bearing clearance

Internal clearance during rotation of ball bearings, also called clearance, has great impact on the fatigue service life, vibration, noise, temperature rise and other properties of ball bearings. Therefore, it is an important research program to select the internal clearance of ball bearings with set structural size. The clearance refers to a gap among the internal loop, external loop and rolling body of ball bearings, that is, the amount of the movement of one of the internal and external loops in an up and down direction or left and right direction when the other one of them is fixed. The amount of radical movement is radical clearance, and the amount of axial movement is called axial clearance. These clearances are specified in International Standards.

Ceramic bearings and stainless steel bearings (plastic bearings are otherwise specified) are produced by the following radical clearance standards (equal to China Standards and International Standards). 0 group is the basic group or standard clearance (product of this group will be supplied unless otherwise stated). Plastic bearings are produced by the axial clearance standards in the table 3. As the size stability of is limited by their precision, our plastic bearings are susceptible to deformation under pressing by bearings and shells. Therefore, a larger clearance is kept during manufacturing to ensure the normal service of bearings.
